How much can a financial advisor make?
I'm thinking of going back to school. What exactly does a financial advisor do and more importantly, how much can they make?
How much can a financial advisor make?
Base salary is 40 - 50k starting out usually lasts about 2 years thenu are thrown to the sharks to survive on the book of business u create... How much FAs make is really up to them... I know FAs that make barely the base salary that they start out with all the way up to +2 million a year...
Networking, being able to take no over and over again, good at presenting, great customer service skills, work hard, knowing the markets, passing all ur series exams... That's the basics
It's not a cake walk by any means but u will be rewarded for the hard work if u can get it to work... Hours are what u want them to be (have to be accessible for client some how), some FAs get comfortable with their book and coast for several years... Everybody is different... My theory is "if a book isn't growing then it is dieing"
