Is a financial advisor a good career?

Is a financial advisor a good career?-Wedell and Reed offered me a position I would like some professional opinion on the career of financial advisor.
The career has many challenges.
Some of your duties may include
*execute business development strategies to attract and acquire new clients
• Analyze clients’ financial needs, goals, sensitivity to risk and investment horizon
• Advise clients regarding the advantages and disadvantages of different investment strategies
• Create, implement, and continually review, a plan that includes strategies designed to help clients pursue their long-term goals
• Act as the steward of the client assets and achieve client satisfaction and loyalty through excellent service.
Are you motivated to go after the business? (cold call, hold seminars, follow up consistently etc etc.)
There is a continual growing demand for this career field but more importantly than just money and status; ... You have to ask yourself :: Do I see myself in this position carrying out the duties that my job entails and (more importantly) Does it excite me and get my heart pumping? Without the Natural Enthusiasm, it could be just another job.
This is a good company with a good business model. You can earn as little or as much as you desire. You will be working with a wonderrful group of people, your clients, and will find it very fulfilling. If you make the choice, do so with commitment. Get totally immersed in the community, and you will have a great career. Work Hard and Good Luck!
